Delicious hot drinks to try with Zip boiling water

Tea and coffee are two of the most widely consumed drinks in the world, and many of us can’t get through the day without at least a cup of one of them. Spiced Cinnamon Hot Chocolate

Serves 2

Ingredients

½ tsp red chilli flakes

2 tbsp cocoa powder

60g dark chocolate, chopped

1 tbsp light brown sugar

1 orange, zested

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

500ml Zip boiling water

Fresh whipped cream to serve

Cinnamon stick to garnish

Method

In a heatproof jug, combine all the ingredients and add hot water. Stir until cocoa and chocolate have dissolved and melted.

Let it steep for a few minutes before pouring it into a strainer over a cup. Top with fresh whipped cream. Serve with a cinnamon stick to stir.

 

Calming Matcha Latte

Serves 1-2

Ingredients

2 sachets of green tea powder (2g per sachet)

4 tbsp condensed milk

500ml Zip boiling water

Method

In a heatproof jug, add hot water to the condensed milk. Stir well until the condensed milk has dissolved.

In a separate bowl, add the green tea powder with roughly 3-4 tablespoons of hot water. Stir well with a whisk or a teaspoon.

Divide green tea mixture evenly between two serving cups and pour the milk on top.

 

Healing Ginger Lemon Balm

Serves 2

Ingredients

6 slices of ginger

6-8 fresh lemon balm leaves

500ml Zip boiling water

Method

In a heatproof jug, add the ginger slices with lemon balm and hot water.

Let it steep for 4-5 minutes and strain it into serving glasses or mugs.

This can be served with or without sugar or honey.
