Zip Assist CMMS is our comprehensive maintenance management platform, designed to streamline service, support, and asset management.

It provides real-time visibility into your Zip systems, enabling efficient scheduling of maintenance, tracking of service history, and proactive management of filter and CO₂ replacements.

Whether you're managing a single unit or a fleet across multiple locations, Zip Assist CMMS ensures your systems stay in peak condition with minimal downtime.

Getting Started

It couldn’t be easier, all you need to do is answer these three questions and if you’re not sure put us in contact with your I.T. department and we’ll figure it out for you.

- Is there an OK Wi-Fi signal where the HydroTap has been installed? All you need is a couple of Wi-Fi indicator bars on your smartphone when logged into the network when it is held next to the HydroTap
- What type of security is the Wi-Fi network using e.g. WPA/WPA2 or WEP
Do you use a proxy server?
Warranty
The Wi-Fi chip is covered by a standard 24 month warranty when retrofitted or the full HydroTap product warranty when installed in a new product. Terms and conditions apply see our Warranty Policy for full details.

Wi-Fi, Cloud Based and Optimised for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile

Connect your HydroTaps to the cloud via Wi-Fi and access all information remotely using a web browser. Performance data is collected and messages are sent to and from the HydroTap via user adjusted periodic updates to the cloud database.

A web application which uses a secure SSL link to the cloud based server can be used to log-in and view data and change settings and being a web base application means there is no installation of data cables or software necessary.

Zip Assist is cross platform ready and is viewable easily and securely from any device anywhere in the world!

When a HydroTap connects to the Zip Assist server, it uses industry-standard SSL/TLS and AES encryption for a secure connection.

During registration, an interim key from the HydroTap is entered into the Zip Assist management page. Once registered, all communications use unique IDs to securely identify each HydroTap.

Zip Assist houses all your HydroTaps in one easy to manage platform with all of the corresponding information including location information e.g. group, building name, level, location, serial number and model number.

The unique advanced dashboard lets you quickly view the status of or make changes to functional settings of HydroTaps installed across multiple buildings and sites from any device anywhere in the world!

Zip Assist helps you track usage, predict filter changes, and plan maintenance during low-usage periods—improving service, reducing disruptions, and streamlining consumable orders.

Zip Assist’s notifications page lets users set up email alerts for system faults, alerts, and filter life updates—sent instantly, daily, or weekly. Filter alerts can also trigger when levels drop below a user-defined threshold.

If Zip is your service provider, you can also route alerts directly to our service team to enhance fault detection, speed up response times, and improve first-time fix rates.

Our powerful reporting tools offer custom filters for energy use, water consumption, and usage patterns. Run reports anytime to generate clear charts for easy analysis.

These insights help reduce costs by optimising HydroTap operating times and support employee wellness by tracking hydration levels—potentially inspiring initiatives to boost water intake.

Shared Access

There are two login types, giving owners flexibility to manage HydroTaps themselves or via facility managers across multiple sites. 

Owner – Only owners can register HydroTaps. They can group and share units with facility managers and revoke access at any time. 
Facility Manager – Can access and manage any groups shared with them, including from multiple owners. 
Zip Service – Owners can optionally grant Zip remote access to their HydroTaps to improve service, with the option to revoke access anytime.
