Zip Water products help avoid three billion plastic bottles, new Sustainability Report reveals

Zip Water has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting significant progress across its environmental, social and governance priorities, including powering its Australian manufacturing operations with 100% renewable electricity, achieving 90% waste diversion from landfill and advancing the electrification of its vehicle fleet.
The report reveals that Zip Water products have helped consumers avoid the equivalent of more than three billion single-use plastic bottles, while reducing carbon emissions and supporting more sustainable drinking water consumption. It also provides an early look at the forthcoming Zip Accessible Remote, a new solution designed to improve accessibility in workplaces and public spaces.

Among the report's key achievements are the transition to 100% renewable electricity at Zip Water's Australian manufacturing facility, 90% waste diversion from landfill and continued progress in fleet electrification. The report also details improvements in climate reporting, governance and operational efficiency.
Beyond its operations, the report demonstrates how Zip Water is helping address water accessibility challenges in communities across Australia. The latest milestone in the company's Water for Schools initiative saw solar-powered Hydro Panels installed in Alcoota, a remote Northern Territory community, helping provide students, staff and residents with access to clean, safe drinking water generated from moisture in the air.
Together, these initiatives demonstrate how Zip Water is embedding sustainability across its operations, products and community partnerships, while continuing to improve access to safe drinking water.
