Learn how to change a CO2 bottle on a HydroTap G5 Command Centre.
Instructions for use (Residential model)
This bottle must be used in an upright position with an approved pressure regulator and high-quality protective gloves (as it contains refrigerated gas and may cause cryogenic burns or injury).
- Turn CO2 regulator off by turning black lever 90 degrees to the right
- Perform CO2 purge from the system menu
- Remove CO2 bottle from regulator
- Remove protective cap of discharge valve on new CO2 bottle
- Ensure CO2 pressure hose is connected to regulator and tightened
- Connect the new CO₂ bottle to the regulator and tighten by hand. You will hear a small puff of gas, indicating that the regulator has become pressurised. Once resistance is felt, continue tightening by ¼ of a turn. Ensure the bottle is stored upright and securely restrained.
- Turn CO2 regulator slowly and check for leaks by dabbing soapy water using a sponge around bottle connection. If bubbles appear, tighten connection to stop leaks.
If there are no bubbles, you do not need to tighten it further - Perform CO2 purge from the system menu
