As of Monday 9th November 2026, HydroTap Clean is no longer required as part of the standard HydroTap commissioning process.
This change reflects continued advancements in Zip’s manufacturing processes, technology and quality controls and is supported by rigorous independent testing, giving us confidence to simplify the commissioning process.
Your HydroTap should always be installed, serviced and maintained in accordance with the latest Zip guidance. While cleaning is no longer required as part of standard commissioning, Zip recognises it may still be needed in some environments and can provide this as a service where required.
